Where the Mind goes

Sale Price:€400.00 Original Price:€700.00

Medium: Oil on canvas
Size:100 W x 65 H x 4 cm
Year: 2020

I painted this piece over many sessions, each time under the influence of something different — alcohol, cocaine, ketamine, psilocybin.

Every layer carries the perception I had in that altered moment. The colours are combinations I’d never pick sober — they don’t “make sense” in my usual way of thinking.

It’s a record of that state — a reminder of where the mind can go, and what it can make, when it’s not in its natural clarity.

It has a special, different rhythm comparing to all the other pieces I’ve made…

This artwork is an original oil painting on high-quality stretched cotton canvas.

It was built up over multiple layers using professional-grade oil paints, allowing for depth, richness, and subtle tonal transitions.

The surface has been carefully varnished to protect the colors and provide a unified, slightly satin finish that enhances the details and brushwork.

The painting is signed on the back and will come with a certificate of authenticity. Thick edges are painted, so it can be hung without a frame if desired.

Durable, archival, and made to last a lifetime.
