This painting was inspired by my trip to Montenegro, a land where nature feels almost otherworldly.

I remember standing before the mountains, watching storm clouds gather and shift across the horizon.

The landscape felt alive — as if the mountains themselves were conscious beings, revealing their power and magnificence to anyone willing to stop and truly look.

In that moment, it felt like a god of the mountains was presenting itself through the play of light, shadow, and storm.

This work is my attempt to capture that overwhelming sense of presence and awe.
